Artem Ovcharenko presented the BBC docudrama Rudolf Nureyev – Dance To Freedom in Saint-Petersburg

Last Saturday Artem Ovcharenko presented the BBC docudrama 'Rudolf Nureyev – Dance To Freedom' to Saint-Petersburg.

The film starring the Bolshoi's Principal in the title role held its premiere at Rodina Movie Theater as a St. Petersburg International Economic Forum cultural event.

“I was very keen not just to play Nureyev correctly, but also to dance like him, but without making it a caricature,” he said.
